Here it is Friday the 13th I am sure nothing else could go wrong today since the bad news of yesterday. So Mickey went in for her knee scope and it was not good news. Dr. said she was a strong woman to have gone thru as much pain with her knee considering it was one of the worst he had seen coming into the office. So it was cleaned out because of large quantities of cartilage roaming around. He will be able to prolong a full knee replacement for at least two years. Perhaps 4 weeks at most for total recovery but should be able to check on pedal power after recheck next wednesday. Brandon has purchased a new bike and before my surgery he has been able to put a least 25 miles on it, feels great and now looking for mine to purchase next month. The process of getting ready for trip continues! :)
